1. Objective of the Game
- The goal of Air Carrom is to flick your carrom pieces into the pockets. The player who pockets all their pieces (either black or white) and then the queen wins.
2. Game Setup
- Set up the Air Carrom board on a flat surface. Make sure the fan or air blower is working to create an air cushion.
- The pieces (carrom men) are placed in the center of the board. The queen is placed in the middle, surrounded by the black and white pieces.
3. Turns and Turns Order
- Players take turns flicking their pieces. You must use your fingers to flick the carrom men across the board.
- The player who pockets the first piece (either black or white) starts the game. Players alternate turns after each shot.
4. Flicking the Pieces
- Flick the pieces using your finger to propel them toward the pockets. You can use the edges of the board to bounce shots in, but always aim for precision.
- The air cushion allows the pieces to float and glide, making it easier to control your shots.
5. The Queen
- The queen is the most important piece. To pocket the queen, you must first pocket one of your regular pieces (either black or white).
- Once the queen is pocketed, it must be followed by a regular piece in the same turn to secure the queen. If you fail, the queen is returned to the board.
6. Winning the Game
- The game is won when a player pockets all their pieces and the queen.
- If a player pockets the queen but fails to pocket a regular piece in the same turn, the queen is returned to the board.
7. Fouls
- Foul shots include:
- Pocketing the wrong color piece.
- Pocketing the striker (flicking piece) or hitting the striker twice in a row.
- Failing to pocket any piece during your turn.
- When a foul occurs, the opponent gets an additional turn.
8. Winning the Round
- The first player to pocket all their pieces, including the queen, wins the round. The game can have multiple rounds, depending on how long you want to play.
9. End of the Game
- The game ends once all pieces have been pocketed and the queen is secured. The player who successfully completes this task wins the game.
